Provides a diagnostic support platform
for dental clinics utilizing AI

QCould you explain your company's services?

Our company develops and provides various services for dentists. Our main products are “dentallHiS,” which is a cloud-based system for managing dental clinic operations and information, and “dentall.ai,” which offers AI analysis and videos for cross-sectional analysis and viewing of various data, including patient information, medical records, video data, as well as management and revenue data. In Taiwan, these are integrated with the healthcare system and are utilized to determine treatment details and insurance coverage. We also operate Taiwan’s largest e-commerce site for dental materials, with over 3,000 types of equipment and consumables available. Over 53% of dentists in Taiwan use our services along with over 43% of dental clinics in Taiwan. In addition, we offer more than 600 online and offline training and educational programs for dentists.

QWhat was the background behind the launch of services by dentall Japan?

I am actually a dentist and operate a clinic in Taiwan. The systems used in dentistry—and the entire healthcare industry for that matter—are outdated and operational efficiency is poor. This is a persistent problem causing slow progress towards digitalization. This moved me to develop a service in collaboration with a friend who is a systems engineer in order to fix this situation, which would benefit the understaffed medical field. Since dental health is directly connected to both mental and physical well-being, our mission is to use technology and AI for “protecting overall health through oral care.”

QCould you tell us about the strengths and unique features of dentall’ Japan’s services?

We believe that being both stakeholders in the medical field and our ability to develop products in-house is a unique strength that other companies do not have. Another distinguishing feature is our comprehensive coverage of everything necessary for clinic operation—from cloud systems and diagnostic AI to management of e-commerce sites for purchasing equipment and supplies, as well as educational and training services. Of course, these modules can be used individually. For example, you can use just the cloud system or just the e-commerce site. This is done to keep costs in a range that is easy for small clinics to implement, and allows us to address the needs of a wide range of clinics.

QWhy did you consider expanding into Japan?

We established a subsidiary in Japan in August 2025, and aside from Taiwan, we also have locations in Vietnam and Singapore. A major reason why we did this is that many of the products available on the e-commerce platform were originally from Japanese manufacturers, which facilitates access to the market. Japan is also facing challenges with the digitization and standardization of dental records. The coexistence of paper-based record management and disparate systems from different companies has resulted in data formats and standards that are not unified. We believe that dentallHiS can be a great help to physicians by automating the processes required for administrative tasks, such as calculating insurance coverage. Variation also exists in the diagnosis methods of physicians since there are no standardized diagnostic and treatment criteria. So, we believe our diagnostic AI will be beneficial. We are currently in the process of gaining certification, but we have already seen positive interest from various sectors, including physicians, dental clinics, and system providers.

QWhat kind of partner companies are you currently seeking?

We want to connect with companies in Japan that, like us, are developing electronic medical records and cloud management systems. We have multiple modular services that were developed entirely in-house, so there is no need for further development to integrate these, which allows for swift and flexible operation. During the implementation phase, our services can be integrated as add-ons to existing systems at Japanese clinics, so it is possible to use only the services that are needed. Our aim is to cultivate partnerships with those who can collaborate and provide solutions for the diverse challenges facing clinics.

QWhat are your future goals?

Ultimately, we want to become a foundational platform in the dental industry, encompassing data, diagnostics, education, and purchasing of supplies. First, I believe that enhancing the infrastructure including the data infrastructure on the clinic side will help to improve operational efficiency industry-wide, which is a problem caused by the shortage of doctors. I am committed to addressing each situation. While the services in each module are not integrated, we believe that such integration would be very beneficial to fieldwork. For example, using dentallHiS and dentall.ai to manage the input of daily consumed items and medical data would enable AI to automatically place orders for necessary replenishments through e-commerce sites.
In the future, we hope to develop an interactive system that will allow patients to access their own medical history and past records, with the intent of enhancing people’s awareness of their oral health.
